Who We AreSynthetik Paranormal is a paranormal research and investigation organization based in central/eastern Kentucky serving the entire commonwealth. Our members are well educated and highly experienced in both the technical use of the equipment utilized in paranormal research and the scientific processes that govern the world in which we live. Additionally, all of our members are native to this fine commonwealth that we are citizens of and truly appreciate the opportunity to serve our local communities. Some cities that we visit frequently are: Lexington, Richmond, Louisville, Winchester, Paintsville, Prestonsburg, Pikeville, and Frankfort.
Our Mission
Our BeliefsWe do not consider ourselves skeptics since we are open to the ideas and theories of the paranormal, we do consider ourselves extremely objective. When we perform a paranormal investigation our primary goal is to determine what natural occurance(s) is likely the cause of the alleged "paranormal" activity. In the event that we cannot reasonably correlate alleged “paranormal” phenomena to a natural occurrence, then we will begin to analyze and research the data collected during the investigation for a possible paranormal cause. Any data that we feel may possibly be regarded as evidence of the paranormal will then be presented on our website for review by the paranormal community and the public.
Note about "orbs": Synthetik Paranormal does not acknowledge the actual existence of "orbs", aka: "light anomalies." Therefore, we do not display any evidence or data obtained during investigations that resemble the traditional model of an orb. Synthetik Paranormal believes that these "orbs" are simply naturally existing particulate material (ie: dust, dead skin, fibers) reflecting light (ie: xenon flash from photographic cameras or infrared emitters from video camcorders). Please understand that we are in no way attempting to discredit the use of “orbs” by others in the paranormal field as we fully respect their beliefs; however, based upon our opinions we feel compelled not to utilize the alleged "phenomena" as paranormal. |
